Last year's Golden Globes were highly competitive for both Best Motion Picture categories; Drama and Musical or Comedy. The Aviator was the favorite for Best Motion Picture Drama, but Million Dollar Baby and Finding Neverland are both wonderful films and may have came close to winning the Golden Globe. For the Best Motion Picture Musical or Comedy Golden Globe, Ray was heavily favored, however, Sideways caused a stir and proved itself by being more than just a worthy foe and brought home the Golden Globe.
