There’s a great change that if you have watched a film over the last couple decades
Alec Baldwin was probably in it.
In the early 80’s Alec Baldwin got parts in
televisions shows like The Doctors and Knots Landing, this made
people pay attention to him and helped him get on his first big movie parts in
the movie Beetle Juice.
Baldwin had mostly supporting roles in his next few films and then got
the role of Jack Ryan in the Hunt for Red October, the first
of series of films based on Tom Clancy novels. It would be
the only time he would play Jack Ryan due to a disagreement about the script
of the next movie, Harrison Ford would later take over the role.
He starred in the Gateaway with then-wife Kim
Basinger and still continues to be one of the busiest actors in show
business today. This year Alec Baldwin is nominated for his work in the The
Cooler.
