Billy Bob Thornton was born in Hot Springs, Arkansas in 1955. The
actor definitely needed to pay his dues to become an actor in the beginning of his career.
He actually developed a stomach condition that still haunts him due to the
poor nutrition he suffered while on a budget-induced-all-potato diet. It got bad enough at the
time that he went to a doctor for treatment and had no money to pay the physician who looked
after the to-be-star free of charge.
During this hard times in the actor’s life his physic mother predicted that one
day he would work with Burt Reynolds. The vision came true when Thornton starred as a guest
on the show Evening Shade..
Billy Bob has been married five times during his life, including a marriage to
Angelina Jolie.
Thornton’s big break came in Sling Blade, a movie he wrote, produced and starred
in the movie. Since then Billy Bob has found a lot of success in the movies, including his Golden
Globe nominated performance in Bad Santa.
