david strathairn

After realizing he had a skill for acting while in college
David Strathairn began to hitchhike
across the country stopping wherever he could get a
part in a local production.
While spending time in Florida, Strathairn
decided to join the Ringling Brothers Clown College
and for a time worked as a clown with a traveling circus
Since his time spent as a clown Strathairn
has appeared in many movies, mostly in a supporting
role. His acting has been featured in films like Lovesick,
L.A. Confidential, and Limbo.
Recently Strathairn starred as former
CBS reporter Edward R. Murrow in George
Clooney's, Good
Night, and Good Luck. He is nominated for a
Golden Globe for his role in the film.
