Centering around Peter Pan playwright J.M. Barrie (played by Johnny Depp), the beginning of the film finds him in need of inspiration after his last play gets lukewarm reviews. Luckily, he finds it through a chance encounter with a widowed mother (Kate Winslet) and her children. Despite the disapproval of most everyone else around him, he befriends the family, particularly the children, and instills in them a wonder of the world around them, and turns them into the Lost Boys of Neverland. Directed by Golden Globe nominee Marc Forster.
