Good Night, and Good Luck is based on
the true story of CBS journalist Edward R. Murrow (David
Strathairn) and his fight against Senator Joseph
McCarthy and his anti-communism campaign.
The film has a great cast that includes
current Golden Globe Nominee David Strathairn, Robert
Downey Jr., Patricia
Clarkson, Jeff Daniels
and George Clooney.
Good Night, and Good Luck is nominated
for this year's best picture for a drama and Clooney
is nominated for a best director Golden Globe.
