Keira Knightley was born to actor Will Knightley
and playwright Sharman Macdonald. She had an early interest in
acting and even asked her parents for an agent at the age of three.
They came up with an agreement that could be in plays during her
summer breaks.
Knightley received a lot of attention
when she was in Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace
playing Queen Amidala's double. Since then she has appeared
in The Hole, Bend It
Like Beckham and the Pirates of the Caribbean movies.
This year Knightley had a Golden Globe
worthy performance i n the latest version of
Pride & Prejudice.
