The movie Mystic River takes place during the summer of 1975 three kids are playing together in their Boston neighborhood, when one of them is abducted and sexually abused. The three grow up and lead totally different lives, but still live in the same small town.

Jimmy’s (Sean Penn) teen daughter is murdered and he vows to kill the person who did it before the police find them. Sean (Kevin Bacon) is the police officer is the one on the case and it turns out that Dave (Tim Robbins) is a suspect in the case.

The film was directed by Clint Eastwood and stars Sean Penn, Tim Robbins, Kevin Bacon and Laurence Fishburne.
