nathan lane
Born Joseph Lane, Nathan Lane has done what
few actors have done and became a success both on the stage
and on the screen.
Lane started his career in theater with roles
that included Max Bialystock in The Producers and Pseudolus in
A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum. Lane won a Tony
award for his role of Pseudolus.
Many children know Lane's voice as Timon, the singing
character on the Lion King films.
This year Lane is nominated for best actor
for his work on the film The
Producers, playing Max Bialystock, the same
character he played on the stage.
