The camera was used to record all kinds of films Peter and his friends would act out. <p class="body">At the age of 22 Jackson and his friends took four years and made a movie called <em>Bad Taste</em>. One of Jackson’s friends who was in the film business saw a lot of potential in it and encouraged him to show it around. The film made it to the Cannes film festival where it won a lot of attention and prizes. <p class="body">This new success allowed him to make <em>Braindead, Heavenly Creatures</em> and <em>The Frighteners</em>.
