Rachel Weisz started modeling at the age of 14 and got into
acting while studying at Cambridge University when she joined an acting troupe
called the Talking Tongues.
Weisz's early acting experience was on the stage and she even received
a vote for the Most Promising Newcomer by the London Critics' Circle.
Since moving over the film world Weisz
has appeared in The Mummy, Enemy at the Gates, About
a Boy and recently appeared in the Golden Globe nominated
film The Constant
Gardener.
Weisz's role as the murdered wife of Ralph
Fiennes' character in Fernando
Meirelles' The Constant Gardener has earned her
a Golden Globe nomination for Best Supporting Actress.
