reese witherspoon

Reese Witherspoon did a lot of traveling
early in her life. She spent the first four years of
her life in Germany because her father was a military
surgeon.
Witherspoon got into modeling at an early age and was very
successful at it. She started getting movie roles in her early teens, but
decided to take a break from acting to attend Stanford University and take
an English major.
She was offered a role in the film Fear and decided to put
school on the side and get back into doing films.
This decision worked out well for Witherspoon. She has
appeared in Pleasantville, Election and the Legally Blonde films since
getting back into acting.
In Witherspoon's most recent film she
plays June Cater Cash in the biopic Walk
the Line. Witherspoon and her costar Joaquin
Phoenix sing and play on the soundtrack. Her performance
has earned her a Golden Globe nomination.
