Sarah Jessica Parker was raised in
a big family, a family that supported her acting aspirations.
The family moved to New Jersey so Parker could work
on her young career. During this time Parker had a lot
of success on the stage and continued to became a better
actress and dancer.
During the early 1980's she started to
get roles in television shows and small parts in movies,
but Parker wanted to get her hands on a lead role.
In the film L.A. Story, Parker played
Steve Martin's younger girlfriend and the film did well
and so did Parker's career. She later starred in Honeymoon
in Vegas, Woody Allen's The Sunshine Boys and Ed Wood
with Johnny Depp.
Parker continued to act on the stage and eventually starred in the
hit television show Sex in the City.
Parker stars in this year's holiday hit film The Family Stone, for which
she is nominated for a Golden Globe award.
