In 1981 Tim Robbins graduated with a degree in drama from UCLA,
since then he has a career full of hit movies and award winning performances.
It was during that same time that Tim Robbins formed the Actors' Gang.
This acting troupe has been very successful and helped many actors get their start in the
entertainment industry including Jack Black. After doing some television Robbins played "Nuke" Laloosh in
the 1988 Bull Durham with future partner Susan Sarandon.
This movie was a huge hit and started off the actors career.
Robbins is very politically active and is a member of the Green
Party and has defended his views to various media during recent elections. He
has also been a part of anti war protests on the Iraq war.
Tim Robbins has claimed he is the word’s biggest New York
Rangers fan, he is also a big New York Mets fan as well.
During his career he has been in Bob Roberts, The Shawshank
Redemption, High Fidelity and recently his Golden Globe winner for best
supporting actor in Mystic River.
